Kaarisilta Triennale 2026 in English

Kaarisilta Triennale is an international art event. In the summer of 2026, the Triennale brings together artists from the Nordic and Baltic countries to showcase various art forms on equal terms.

Previously known as the Kaarisilta Biennale, the event will be organized for the seventh time in Finland. Kaarisilta Triennale includes art exhibitions and music events. The main exhibition will be held at Ersta Manor and its surroundings in Villähde, Lahti, Finland. Additional exhibition venues include the Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva and the Lahti City Library.

The open call for artists runs from February 1 to March 13, 2026.

The exhibition will be open to the public from June 23 to August 2, 2026.

Our Future – Postcards from the Future

Kettuki and Kaarisilta Triennale invite the field of supported art to participate in our next collaborative artwork:

✨ Theme: A desirable future

✨ Two size options: A6 or A5

✨ Free choice of technique and style (e.g., drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media, textile art, or other techniques)

✨ Flat, suitable for hanging on a wall

✨ A loop for heavier pieces for hanging

✨ No AI, use your own intelligence and imagination.

The new collaborative artwork will be exhibited at the Kaarisilta Triennale next summer, 2026. The artworks must be ready to be mailed in April 2026.
